STEAM-IE Adventures Pvt. Ltd. – Company Policy

1. Introduction

STEAM-IE is committed to revolutionizing STEM education across India by providing innovative kits, platforms, and experiential learning ecosystems. This policy outlines the code of conduct, organizational values, and expectations to ensure professionalism, fairness, and growth for all stakeholders.


2. Vision & Mission

  • Vision: To empower students with 21st-century skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through innovative tools and pedagogy.

  • Mission: To align with NEP-2020 and NCERT guidelines by building scalable STEM/AI/Robotics labs, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship across schools nationwide.

4. Code of Conduct

  • Employees and advisors must act in the best interest of the company and students served.

  • Confidential information (curricula, designs, financials, agreements) must not be disclosed without authorization.

  • No conflict of interest shall be entertained; disclosures must be made to management if such situations arise.

  • Professional behavior is expected in all internal and external interactions, including with clients, schools, students, and government stakeholders.


5. Workplace Policy

5.1 Equal Opportunity

STEAM-IE is an equal opportunity employer. Discrimination on the basis of gender, caste, religion, region, or background is strictly prohibited.

5.2 Anti-Harassment

Any form of workplace harassment, bullying, or misconduct will not be tolerated. A POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committee will address grievances confidentially.

5.3 Work Environment

  • Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional attire.

  • Remote and hybrid working models may be allowed as per project needs.

  • Use of company assets (laptops, kits, IP, etc.) should be strictly work-related.


6. Employment & Compensation

  • Offer letters, advisory agreements, or contracts will define roles, responsibilities, and remuneration.

  • Salaries, advisory fees, and incentives will be performance-linked and processed monthly against valid invoices only. 

  • Confidentiality and non-compete clauses apply to all employees and advisors.


7. Intellectual Property (IP)

All designs, kits, software, curriculum content, and training modules developed under STEAM-IE belong to the company. Employees and partners must not duplicate or share IP without written approval.


8. Investment & Advisory

  • Advisory roles are linked with minimum investment/commitment as per term sheets.

  • Exits and settlements shall follow agreed lock-in periods and contractual clauses.

  • Advisors are expected to actively support fundraising, partnerships, and strategic guidance.


9. Co-Founders & Directors Clause

  • STEAM-IE operates as a separate legal entity (Private Limited Company).

  • Co-Founders and Directors shall not be personally liable for any debts, dues, liabilities, or obligations arising out of agreements with advisors, employees, clients, or other co-founders.

  • All financial and legal obligations rest solely with the company as per applicable law.


10. Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Safety standards must be followed during kit production, school installations, and training.

  • Compliance with local labor laws, education policies, and government regulations is mandatory.

  • Employees traveling for projects must adhere to safety and expense guidelines.


11. Disciplinary Action

Violation of this policy, including misconduct, non-performance, or breach of confidentiality, may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, or termination.


12. Review & Amendments

This policy will be reviewed annually by the management/Board of Advisors and updated as per company growth, legal requirements, and industry standards.


13. Full & Final (FNF) Settlement Policy

  • Upon resignation, termination, or completion of association, the Full & Final (FNF) settlement of any employee, advisor, or consultant shall be processed only after 90 (ninety) days from the date of acceptance of resignation/termination by the company.

  • The FNF shall include:

    • Pending salary/fees up to the last working date.

    • Eligible reimbursements and incentives (if any).

    • Statutory dues as applicable.

  • No interest shall be payable on pending dues during this 90-day period.

  • Any deductions, penalties, or adjustments (company property, advance payments, or non-compete violations) shall be accounted for before release.

  • The company reserves the right to withhold or adjust FNF amounts in cases of non-compliance, breach of contract, or unresolved disputes.
